Production Assembler
The position:
Metron is looking for an energetic entry-level production line assembler. The role will be the physical assembly of products on multiple production line stations.
This person’s responsibilities:
- Ability to assemble antennas, cables and plastics
- Ability to build boxes, packing materials and palletize shipments
- Ability to follow standard work instructions
- Keep work area neat and orderly
- Follow all safety regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned or directed to meet the goals and objectives of the department and the organization
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability for fast-paced, dexterous work
- Ability to use all standard office equipment including personal computers and Microsoft Office products – basic data entry
- Communicate effectively (both oral and written)
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team
- Experience in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail
